Dromore's Pearl and Lead Into Demise were quick to begin. Zatmine was slow to begin. Memphis Dream and Lakeview Harley collided soon after the start. Lakeview Harley and Zatmine collided approaching the first turn. Memphis Dream and Lakeview Harley collided on the first turn. Lakeview Harley and Zatmine raced wide approaching the second turn. Photon Jewel faltered on the second turn and tailed off as a result. Marciarno Miss raced wide in the back straight.
Photon Jewel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right whip muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
