Seabrook Dill, Next Grange and Amari were slow to begin. Senni Richard, Seabrook Dill and Next Grange collided approaching the first turn. Full Of Boloney checked off Miss Barbados on the first turn. Seabrook Dill, Next Grange and Brace For Impact collided on the first turn, checking Next Grange. Amari checked off Major Dollar approaching the home turn.
Next Grange was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg quadriceps injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
