A pre-race sample was taken from Wild Hunny upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Banjo Fever was quick to begin. Can't Believe It was slow to begin. Banjo Fever crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Wild Hunny and Slick Maggie. Johnny Bullet and Banjo Fever collided approaching the first turn. Wild Hunny was checked off Banjo Fever on the first turn and collided with Slick Maggie severely checking Wild Hunny and Slick Maggie. Wild Hunny was checked off Slick Maggie on the third turn checking Slick Maggie, both greyhounds tailed off. Sanz Marlow raced wide in the home straight.
Wild Hunny was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
