Time Bandit was quick to begin.  Arvo's McQueen and Korcheck were slow to begin.  She's A Beaut and Cool As Hell collided soon after the start checking Cool As Hell. Arvo's McQueen and Korcheck collided on the first turn checking Arvo's McQueen.  Korcheck and Cool As Hell collided on the home turn.  Regis Moment raced wide on the home turn.  Arvo's McQueen and Cool As Hell collided several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds.  She's A Beaut veered in and marred the running of Time Bandit approaching the winning post.

She's A Beaut was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Carr, the trainer of the greyhound She's A Beaut regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged She's A Beaut with marring.  Mr. Carr pleaded guilty to the charge.  She's A Beaut was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Long Live Sid.

Sultan's Boy was quick to begin.  Shadow Diamond and Santana were slow to begin.  Foxzami Insider galloped on the heels of Shoot The Moon approaching the first turn. Santana checked off Long Live Sid on the first turn.  Sultan's Boy crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Shoot The Moon.  Sultan's Boy and Long Live Sid collided on the first turn.  Shoot The Moon raced wide in the home straight.

Vegas Dealer was quick to begin.  Fabra Cadabra, Rotter Damm and Brandeen Peaches were slow to begin.  Rotter Damm crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Fabra Cadabra.  Thank Me Later raced wide entering the home straight.  Fabra Cadabra raced wide in the home straight.

Tiger Jams was quick to begin.  Liberty Diamond and Yeah Mint were slow to begin.  Any Other Union and Perfect Hours collided on the first turn checking Perfect Hours. Yeah Mint galloped on the heels of Perfect Hours approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Any Other Union and Liberty Diamond collided approaching the home turn.

Dr. Peregrine crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Mandela Sun, Isla Rose and Dr. Shanice.  Jesse's Typhoon checked off Dr. Peregrine approaching the first turn and stumbled as a result.  Jesse's Typhoon and Useful collided on the first turn checking Useful and Parisienne.  Dr. Shanice raced wide in the home straight.  Dr. Peregrine and Kadalex Kid collided approaching the winning post.

Nirranda Ripper and Coogan's Regret were quick to begin.  Dark Avenger checked off Nirranda Ripper soon after the start.  Willowvale Wings crossed to the inside checking Nirranda Ripper, Renberg and Sonny's Honey.  Dark Avenger checked off Willowvale Wings on the home turn and collided with Renberg; Renberg was checked as a result.

Joe Mama was vetted following the event after an incident in the catching pen.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Celtic Fire and Gee Whiz Gran were slow to begin.  Paws And Go crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Celtic Fire.  Oscar Beam and Bossy Caleb collided on the first turn checking Oscar Beam.  Gee Whiz Gran faltered on the first turn and tailed off as a result.  Redefined galloped on the heels of Rickie Metisse approaching the home turn checking Rickie Metisse.  Redefined and Paws And Go collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Celtic Fire and Bossy Caleb collided on the home turn checking Bossy Caleb.  Redefined and See Sixty Three collided approaching the winning post.

Rickie Metisse was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left calf muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Gee Whiz Gran was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left back muscle.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Vienna Pink was a late scratching at 6:01pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an elevated temperature.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Arvo's Violet was quick to begin.  Nat was slow to begin.  Dr. Ripped crossed to the inside soon after the start severely checking Saloon Princess and Nat.  Select Sanz and Never Satisfied collided on the first turn checking Select Sanz.  Select Sanz and Fairy Tiger collided approaching the home turn checking Fairy Tiger.  Nat galloped on the heels of Dr. Ripped approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Nat checked off Saloon Princess entering the home straight.
