Zelemar Zing was slow to begin. Alira Kate faltered at the 250 metre mark and tailed off. Logic Lad faltered approaching the 200 metre mark and tailed off. Zelemar Zing and Dynamite Dozer collided approaching the 150 metre mark checking Dynamite Dozer.
Logic Lad was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left triangle muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
