Steward's Report
Broulee Miss and In The Net collided soon after the start checking In The Net. Silky Strings, Broulee Miss, Bound After Gold and Zipping Bronco collided approaching the home turn checking Silky Strings, Zipping Bronco and Bound After Gold, severely checking Broulee Miss which fell as a result. Bound After Gold and Big Cold Burst collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards established that Fawn Nova turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the event. Representative for the Trainer, Mr B. Divirgilio, declined to have Fawn Nova vetted. Acting under GAR 52(1), Fawn Nova was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).
Aston Harpo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right hind, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Broulee Miss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left foreleg, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Silky Strings, placed third in the event.
