Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr W.Gray, the trainer of Why Not Sue regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Why Not Sue last raced on 17th September, 2016. Mr Gray stated that the greyhound is returning to racing after a right hock injury and was seasonal.
A pre race sample was taken from Why Not Sue.
Total Hazard and Lady Beatrix collided soon after the start. Carve, Why Not Sue and Sketchy Jack collided approaching the first turn. Lady Beatrix, Total Hazard and Split Chic collided approaching the first turn checking Lady Beatrix. Lady Beatrix, Why Not Sue and Sketchy Jack collided approaching the home turn. Lady Beatrix galloped on the heels of Split Chic approaching the home turn checking Split Chic. Split Chic checked off Sketchy Jack on the home turn. Sketchy Jack and Lady Beatrix collided entering the home straight. Why Not Sue checked off Distributor in the home straight.
