A pre-race sample was taken from Blackalls Lad.
Scary Sister was quick to begin. Royal Village and Dr. Dunstan collided soon after the start. Royal Village contacted the running rail on the first turn. Blackalls Lad and Scary Sister collided on the first turn checking Diamond's Sing and Blackalls Lad and severley checking Dr. Dunstan and It's Debatable. Scary Sister and Tweedle Dee collided approaching the home turn. Diamond's Sing was checked off Royal Village on the home turn.
