Splendid Shiraz, Stalemate, Valarie Allen, New Tibur and Galba Paul collided soon after the start checking Stalemate, Valarie Allen and New Tibur.  Tay's Evil Twin crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Roofer.  Dr. Gemima, Splendid Shiraz and Galba Paul collided on the first turn checking Splendid Shiraz and Galba Paul which raced wide as a result.  New Tibur crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Stalemate and Valarie Allen.  Galba Paul checked off Splendid Shiraz approaching the second turn.  Dr. Gemima clipped the heels of Roofer approaching the home turn.  New Tibur raced wide on the home turn.  Splendid Shiraz and Galba Paul collided on the home turn and several times in the home straight, Splendid Shiraz and Galba Paul tailed off as a result.

Tay's Evil Twin was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a split webbing right hind injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Galba Paul was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Mr J R Maple, the trainer of the greyhound Galba Paul.  Stewards deemed the performance of Galba Paul unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Galba Paul must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Splendid Shiraz was vetted and revetted following event 5. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr R W Fisher, the trainer of the greyhound Splendid Shiraz.  Stewards deemed the performance of Splendid Shiraz unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Splendid Shiraz must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dr. Gerald, Vanity Bale and Billy's Whirl were slow to begin.  Dr. Gerald, Vanity Bale and Billy's Whirl collided soon after the start checking Dr. Gerald and Vanity Bale which raced wide as a result.  She Gone crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Wee Bella and Galba Billy.  Billy's Whirl galloped on the heels of She Gone on the first turn checking Billy's Whirl and Diamond Eyes and severely checking She Gone.  Vanity Bale and Wee Bella collided several times from the first turn to the second turn severely checking both greyhounds with Vanity Bale contacting the outside fence as a result.  Galba Billy and She Gone collided approaching the second turn checking She Gone.  Diamond Eyes and Dr. Gerald collided in the back straight checking Diamond Eyes.  She Gone checked off Galba Billy on the third turn.  Vanity Bale raced wide on the home turn.  Galba Billy and She Gone collided on the home turn.  Vanity Bale raced wide in the home straight.

Vanity Bale was vetted and re-vetted following event 6. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right wrist, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  

Diamond Eyes was vetted and re-vetted following event 4. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right wrist, right hip and thigh, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Wee Bella was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left triceps muscle and right chest muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Allen Yates was slow to begin.  Heathers Premier crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Flip Bale, Inspector Lynley and Dr. Aye Jay.  Inspector Lynley, Heathers Premier and El Rojo Tini collided approaching the first turn checking Inspector Lynley and Heathers Premier.  El Rojo Tini and Dr. Tye collided approaching the second turn checking Dr. Tye.  Inspector Lynley and Heathers Premier collided approaching the second turn checking Dr. Aye Jay and Heathers Premier.  Major McCheese and El Rojo Tini collided entering the back straight.  Dr. Tye checked off Allen Yates entering the back straight.  Major McCheese, Flp Bale and El Rojo Tini collided in the back straight checking Major McCheese.  Allen Yates checked off Major McCheese on the third turn.

Allen Benji, Cool And Fancy and Why Not Happy collided soon after the start checking Why Not Happy.  Allen Benji crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Noble Sudoku and Take You There.  Noble Sudoku and Cool And Fancy collided on the first turn checking Cool And Fancy.  Noble Sudoku clipped the heels of Take You There approaching the home turn checking Noble Sudoku.  Take You There and Cool And Fancy colided on the home turn.

Yo Yoshi, Riverdale Cowboy and Alarming were slow to begin.  Why Not Beau crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Yo Yoshi and Riverdale Cowboy.  Shrike crossed to the rail soon after the start severely checking Santa's Special and Alarming, Santa's Special stumbled as a result.  Riverdale Cowboy and Alarming collided on the first turn.  Shrike checked off Kentucky Woman approaching the home turn.  Why Not Beau and Trophy Hunter collided approaching the home turn.  Riverdale Cowboy and Alarming collided approaching the home turn.  Why Not Beau checked off Trophy Hunter in the home straight.

Shiny Sudoku was slow to begin.  Only Bluffing crossed to the rail soon after the start checking True To God, severely checking Where's Ray and Dr. Wangdang with Where's Ray and Dr. Wangdang stumbling as a result.  Where's Ray raced wide approaching the first turn checking True To God and Shiny Sudoku.  Dr. Dufus checked off Only Bluffing on the first turn checking Liberty.  Liberty and Dr. Dufus collided several times approaching the home turn.  Liberty and Dr. Dufus collided in the home straight checking Liberty.  Where's Ray raced wide in the home straight.

Proven Will was slow to begin.  Paint Stripper, Demon Cleaner and Feel The Thrill collided soon after the start checking Paint Stripper.  Dodgy Dealer and Dr. Thanos collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Proven Will checked off Dr. Thanos approaching the first turn.  Proven Will brushed the running rail approaching the first turn.  Proven Will and Paint Stripper collided approaching the home turn checking Proven Will.

Due to extreme weather conditions, Stewards in consultation with the Club Veterinarian Surgeon, Dr Steve Karamatic, rescheduled start times for all races by 20 minutes.
