Stewards spoke to Ms. A. Dailly, the trainer of the greyhound Karinjini regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Karinjini with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Ms. Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge.  Karinjini was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

After the All Clear had been given a number of handlers alerted Stewards that their greyhound's had sustained lacerations.  As a result stewards directed that the 440m boxes be checked and re tested prior to further races being conducted.

Batty Allen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right eye.  No stand down period was imposed.

Krazy Kanga was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion below the right eye.  No stand down period was imposed.

Walk On By was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right eye, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Winston Rose was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the forehead, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Due to a concern with the 440m starting boxes the starting time for this event was put back one race to 10:49pm.  Race 12 was re scheduled to start at 11:12pm.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Douch, the trainer of Bold Desert regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bold Desert last raced on 5th July 2015.  Mr. Douch stated that the greyhound had been on season, followed by an illness.

This race was re scheduled to 11:12pm.
