Arby, River Crossing and Sharni Rose were quick to begin. Leggo Rose was slow to begin. River Crossing crossed in soon after the start checking Sir Tex. River Crossing and Sharni Rose collided on the first turn checking Attract and severely checking Sharni Rose. Attract checked off Aston Shiraz on the first turn. Sharni Rose galloped on Sir Tex approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Arby and Aston Shiraz raced wide on the home turn. River Crossing and Revelling collided entering the home straight. Arby and River Crossing collided approaching the winning post.
