Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Douch, the trainer of Bold Desert regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Bold Desert last raced on 5th July 2015. Mr. Douch stated that the greyhound had been on season, followed by an illness.
This race was re scheduled to 11:12pm.
Dessie Walnut and Clanda Lass were quick to begin. Gia, Golden Swan and Where's Rhys were slow to begin. Clanda Lass crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Bold Desert and Dessie Walnut and severely checking Sam Whelan. Bold Desert galloped on Dessie Walnut on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Bold Desert and Sam Whelan collided on the first turn checking Sam Whelan. Gia checked off Dessie Walnut in the home straight.
