A pre-race sample was taken from Max Rocket. 

Shanlyn Hoss and Firebird Tess were slow to begin. Allen Impose and You Can't Play collided soon after the start. Allen Impose and Max Rocket collided on the first turn. Dream Of Success checked off Max Rocket on the first turn and collided with Shanlyn Hoss and Zipping Alley; resulting in Zipping Alley being checked. Dream Of Success galloped on the heels of Zipping Alley entering the back straight. You Can't Play eased on the home turn and collided with Max Rocket, checking Max Rocket. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Lawrence, the trainer of the greyhound You Can't Play regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  You Can't Play was vetted and re-vetted following event four.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right front sesamoids, a five day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged You Can't Play with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Lawrence pleaded guilty to the charge, You Can't Play was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.
