Stewards spoke to Ms.L..Repici after the greyhound Reatily Shintaro was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kenneling process. Ms. Repici was issued with a warning and reminded when kenneling she ensures greyhounds are kennelled in accordance with kennel procedure.

Stewards spoke to kennel attendant, Mr C.Archibald  after the greyhound Reatily Shintaro was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kenneling process. Mr Archibald was given a warning and asked to ensure that all greyhounds are correctly kennelled in future. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration. 

Smiley Girl was quick to begin. Hurunui Jack were slow to begin. Spring Velox and Stevie O'Muffin collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Smiley Girl checked off Reatily Shintaro on the first turn and collided with Spring Velox. Hurunui Jack and Destini Baby collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Stevie O'Muffin, Destini Baby and Hurunui Jack collided entering the back straight, checking Stevie O'Muffin. Stevie O'Muffin checked off Destini Baby on the third turn. Destini Baby eased approaching the home turn and collided with Hurunui Jack. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. Martin Taylor, the representative of the greyhound Destini Baby regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Destini Baby was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right quadriceps, a five day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Destini Baby with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Taylor pleaded guilty to the charge, Destini Baby was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stevie O'Muffin was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle and right wrist, a ten day stand down period was imposed.

Shanlyn Hoss and Firebird Tess were slow to begin. Allen Impose and You Can't Play collided soon after the start. Allen Impose and Max Rocket collided on the first turn. Dream Of Success checked off Max Rocket on the first turn and collided with Shanlyn Hoss and Zipping Alley; resulting in Zipping Alley being checked. Dream Of Success galloped on the heels of Zipping Alley entering the back straight. You Can't Play eased on the home turn and collided with Max Rocket, checking Max Rocket.

Lawrence, the trainer of the greyhound You Can't Play regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  You Can't Play was vetted and re-vetted following event four.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right front sesamoids, a five day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged You Can't Play with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Lawrence pleaded guilty to the charge, You Can't Play was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tekki Tinker, Sweet About Lola, Billy Bio and Galloping Jamie were slow to begin. Sweet About Lola checked off Billy Bio approaching the first turn. Sweet About Lola and Galloping Jamie collided on the first turn. Sweet About Lola checked off Galloping Jamie entering the back straight. Dyna Lemmy and Billy Bio collided in the back straight. Dyna Lemmy and Galloping Jamie collided in the back straight, checking Dyna Lemmy. Dyna Lemmy and Our Spinner collided approaching the home turn. 

Lady Toy was slow to begin. Ninety Five and Lady Toy collided on the second turn. 

Ninety Five, which trailed the field throughout, was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a graze to the left metacarpal, no stand down period was imposed.

Meeting Comments:

Satisfactory Trial Results - She's Ayce trialled over the 515m from box 1, weight 25.7kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of four. The time of the trial was 29.49, the greyhound won by a margin of 6 lengths. She's Ayce was Cleared.
