Steward's Report
Fire Woman and Serco Bale collided soon after the start. Fire Woman, Serco Bale, Bahama Bay, Straight Away and Lektra Hombre collided approaching the first turn checking Bahama Bay. Serco Bale checked off Fire Woman on the first turn and again on the second turn. Lektra Hombre raced wide on the first turn checking Impact Bale. Straight Away checked off Impact Bale approaching the second turn. Serco Bale and Bahama Bay collided several times on the second turn checking both greyhounds; Bahama Bay subsequently tailed off.
Bahama Bay was vetted following the event. It was reported that greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.
