Stewards spoke to Mr D. Todd after the greyhound Filius Flitwick was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kenneling process. Mr. Todd was issued with a warning and reminded when kenneling he ensures greyhounds are kenneled in accordance with kennel procedure. 

Stewards spoke to kennel attendant, Mr D. Maye after the greyhound Filius Flitwick was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kenneling process. Mr D. Maye was given a warning and asked to ensure that all greyhounds are correctly kenneled in future. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Briffa , trainer of Velloway regarding the greyhound's improved performance. Mr. Briffa stated that he was very confident when the greyhound drew an inside box. Mr. Briffa also added that the greyhound has had reoccuring sesamoid and hock injuries and Mr. Briffa had been working on these over a period of time. Stewards noted Mr. Briffa's explanation and directed that a sample be taken.

Astrology, Hatchet Bale and Misty Febey collided soon after the start. Mistel Allen and Misty Febey collided on the first turn, Misty Febey pulled up as a result. Hatchet Bale raced wide in the home straight. Astrology checked off Little Hemi in the home straight.
