This race was delyaed approximately three minutes due a technichal error with the photo finish system, which was rectified prior to the running of the race.
Yanong and Avatar Yappa were slow to begin. Lektra Damage, Wicked Explosion and Maine Heart collided soon after the start. Von Schnitzel, Yanong, Lektra Damage and Maine Heart collided on the first turn, checking Yanong. Lektra Damage and Maine Heart collided on the first turn, checking Maine Heart. Yanong and Avatar Yappa collided several times approaching the home turn. Wicked Explosion checked off Yanong in the home straight. Avatar Yappa and Yanong collided approaching the winning post.
