Maverick Blondie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn right back muscle, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Grand Intention, Beckenbauer and Smokem Jimmy were slow to begin.  Grand Intention and Beckenbauer collided soon after the start, checking Grand Intention.  Beckenbauer and Airbound collided entering the front straight.  Dyna Shinko and Snooky collided in the front straight.  Snooky checked off Beckenbauer in the back straight, checking Smokem Jimmy.  Cadence Bale checked off Tollbar on the fourth turn, checking Airbound.

Who Told Harry, Master Bekim and Galloping Jamie were slow to begin.  Mepunga Joffa checked off Maximum Mak soon after the start.  Mepunga Joffa and Master Bekim collided on the first turn.  Dream Edition and Galloping Jamie collided on the second turn.  Dream Edition checked off Galloping Jamie entering the back straight.  Dream Edition veered in and marred the running of Galloping Jamie in the home straight.

Maximum Mak was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triceps, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to A Langton, the trainer of the greyhound Dream Edition regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Dream Edition with marring. A Langton pleaded not guilty to the charge, Dream Edition was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Wind Whistler and It's A Plane were slow to begin.  Chrichton Bale and Punk Star Lass collided approaching the first turn, checking Chrichton Bale and It's A Plane.  Paddles Anderson and Cosmic Vee Bee collided on the first turn, checking Cosmic Vee Bee.  Spring Trail and It's A Plane collided on the third turn, checking Spring Trail.  Paddles Anderson and Linco Bale collided approaching the winning post.
