A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Fantastic Skye, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Tollbar was slow to begin. Aqua Vitae and George Sannette collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Burn, Gardsman, Aqua Vitae, George Sannette and Mepunga Ledger collided on the first turn, checking Crackerjack Burn and Gardsman, causing Aqua Vitae to fall. George Sannette checked off Mepunga Ledger on the second turn. Gardsman and George Sannette collided on the home turn.
Aqua Vitae was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained superficial wounds, a five day stand down period was imposed.
