Avatar Jet, Dee Big Rig and Barroom Promise were slow to begin. Barroom Promise and Dee Big Rig collided soon after the start checking Barroom Promise. Ninja Bale and Kilbane collided approaching the first turn. Ninja Bale, Kilbane, Avatar Jet and Dee Big Rig collided approaching the first turn checking Kilbane, Ninja Bale and Dee Big Rig. Ninja Bale and Dee Big Rig collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Barroom Promise galloped on Dynamic Heat approaching the home turn severely checking Barroom Promise which fell as a result. Dynamic Heat and Dee Big Rig collided on the home turn checking Dee Big Rig.
Barroom Promise was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
