Zipping Outtlaw was a late scratching at 6.08pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Ms C. Jones was fined the sum of $100.

Dr. Shiloh and Brandeen Plugger were slow to begin.  Routine Advice was checked off Love The Grub approaching the first turn.  Routine Advice and Brandeen Plugger collided approaching the first turn.  Dr. Shiloh was checked off Love The Grub on the first turn.  Elite Swift and Walk Woody Walk collided on the first turn.  Brandeen Plugger galloped on Dr. Shiloh approaching the home turn checking Dr. Shiloh, Brandeen Plugger raced wide as a result.  Elite Swift was checked off Walk Woody Walk approaching the home turn.  Rangler Bale was checked off Love The Grub in the home straight.

Lunar Chief, Bordeaux Miss and Creative Cruise were quick to begin.  Winterstein was checked off Creative Cruise soon after the start.  Dynamite Road and Creative Cruise collided on the first turn checking Dynamite Road, Creative Cruise and Winterstein.  Creative Cruise galloped on Winterstein approaching the home turn.  Lunar Chief, Bordeaux Miss and Challis Jack collided on the home turn causing Callis Jack to race wide.  Lunar Chief raced wide entering the home straight.

Following an incident in the car park Winterstein was vetted.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a lacerated right ear, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Darryl and Sumatra Bale were slow to begin.  Poppy Jay was very slow to begin (20 lengths) and took no competitive part in the event.  Dr. Lachie and Travel Ticket collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Lachie.  Magpie Lily and Sumatra Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Magpie Lily.  Zipping Darryl galloped on Dr. Lachie approaching the first turn.  Zipping Darryl was checked off Cabaye approaching the home turn.  Travel Ticket was checked off Magpie Lily in the home straight.

Poppy Jay was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Jones the handler of the greyhound Poppy Jay.  Stewards deemed the performance of Poppy Jay unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Poppy Jay must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.

Black Mumbo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Tyrone was slow to begin.  Zipping Tyrone and Ginger Speed collided approaching the first turn checking Ginger Speed.  This Is Spartan and Pacific Miss collided on the first turn checking This Is Spartan, Soda Storm and Flash Gun, Ginger Speed galloped on Pacific Miss as a result checking Agent Alyssa and Ginger Speed, Ginger Speed stumbled.

Chuck's Me Boy, Backline Willy, Zipping Ryan and Cable Runner were slow to begin.  Chuck's Me Boy and Backline Willy collided soon after the start.  Chuck's Me Boy was checked off Cleo's Boy on the first turn.  Chuck's Me Boy and Zipping Ryan collided approaching the home turn checking Chuck's Me Boy.  Chuck's Me Boy and Zipping Ryan collided on the home turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Chuck's Me Boy raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Keel the handler of Junilation regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Jubilation last raced 8 July, 2015.  Mr. Keel stated the greyhound was returning to racing following a broken hock.

Mr. B. Keel the handler of Jubilation declared a new weight of 29.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Jubilation last raced at 28.7kg.

Tekki Tinker and Dr. Leonardo were slow to begin.  Attract and Jubilation collided soon after the start checking Jubilation.  Tekki Tinker and Zipping Cash collided soon after the start.  Attract and Chubba Chops collided on the first turn checking Chubba Chops.  Dr. Leonardo and Chubba Chops collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Chubba Chops raced wide in the home straight.
