Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr P Griffen, the trainer of Claretown Sam regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Claretown Sam last raced on 12th August, 2015. Mr Griffen stated that Claretown Sam was returning to racing after suffering several injuries and illness.
Claretown Sam was slow to begin. Spa Primrose checked off Calahan Rocks soon after the start. Claretown Sam and Veetee Magic collided approaching the first turn checking Veetee Magic. Narisawa and Sketchy Sammy collided approaching the first turn checking Narisawa. Calahan Rocks and Just Smile collided entering the home straight. Jersey, Sketchy Sammy and Spa Primrose raced wide entering the home straight.
