Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Baker, the trainer of Vincent's Fury regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Vincent's Fury last raced on 18th March, 2015. Mr. Baker stated that Vincent's Fury was returning to racing after a spell.
Boris Winslow, Vegas Las Paris, Latte Donny and Senni Bones were slow to begin. Boris Winslow and Latte Donny collided approaching the first turn. Dark Discovery, Lynlaw Harvey and Atlas Tinkabell collided approaching the first turn checking Lynlaw Harvey, Vincent's Fury and Atlas Tinkabell and severely checking Boris Winslow and Vegas Las Paris. Vegas Las Paris contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Dark Discovery raced wide approaching the home turn and in the home straight. Vincent's Fury and Lynlaw Harvey collided approaching the home turn checking Vincent's Fury and Atlas Tinkabell.
Vincent's Fury was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Boris Winslow was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to its right hind foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Vegas Las Paris was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hip. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
