Steward's Report
Some Tricks was a late scratching at 11:39am on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury to its left wrist. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Oh Lele Peter was slow to begin. Moonlight Cruise and Speed Chill collided soon after the start checking Speed Chill. Morning Cruise and Flashy Arrow collided soon after the start checking Flashy Arrow. Bush Courage, Morning Cruise and Hunter Rocks collided approaching the first turn checking Morning Cruise. Speed Chill and Flashy Arrow collided approaching the first turn checking Speed Chill. Morning Cruise and Flashy Arrow collided on the first turn checking Flashy Arrow and Speed Chill. Morning Cruise and Oh Lele Peter collided approaching the home turn checking Oh Lele Peter and severely checking Morning Cruise which faltered and pulled up as a result. Flashy Arrow and Speed Chill collided approaching the home turn. Flashy Arrow checked off Speed Chill in the home straight.
Morning Cruise was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
