Steward's Report
Onya Elsa was a late scratching at 6.12 PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a cut pad. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre race sample was taken from Spring Bomber.
Shades Of Earl was slow to begin. Road Driller and Sabjorn Bale collided soon after the start, checking Road Driller. Spring Bomber, Hogwarts Express, Oscorp Bale and Sabjorn Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Hogwarts Express, Oscorp Bale and Road Driller. Oscorp Bale and Shades Of Earl collided on the first turn, checking Oscorp Bale. Hogwarts Express checked off Oscorp Bale approaching the home turn. Spring Bomber raced wide approaching the winning post.
Oscorp Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle and right and left thigh, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
