Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Griffen, the trainer of Claretown Cindy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Claretown Cindy last raced on the 29th of July, 2016. Mr. Griffen stated that Claretown Cindy is returning to racing from being on season.

The All Clear was delayed to allow Stewards to review the start of this event as it was reported that the number above Box 7 had shifted. Acting on their own observations and after viewing the start, Stewards were of the opinion that the greyhound in Box 7 was not affected. 

The photo finish failed to capture an image for this event. Acting on the Judge's own observations and using the back up system the All Clear was given on the Judge's numbers 3, 1, 4 & 7

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Brittain, the trainer of Kay Kayla regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Kay Kayla last raced on the 5th of September, 2016. Mr. Brittain stated that Kay Kayla is returning to racing from a change of kennel.

Onya Elsa was a late scratching at 6.12 PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a cut pad. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
