Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Griffen, the trainer of Claretown Cindy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Claretown Cindy last raced on the 29th of July, 2016. Mr. Griffen stated that Claretown Cindy is returning to racing from being on season.
A pre race sample was taken from Maximum Bella.
Dyna Irminus was slow to begin. Zipping Vito, Silvertop and Philo Bale collided soon after the start, checking Silvertop. Philo Bale and Lyka Allen collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Vito and Claretown Cindy collided approaching the first turn. Silvertop and Lyka Allen collided on the first turn. Silvertop and Lyka Allen collided approaching the home turn, checking Lyka Allen and Maximum Bella.
