Crackerjack Roy and Zou Zou Nee were slow to begin. Fiery Felix and Seabrook Oscar collided soon after the start, checking Seabrook Oscar and Lars Boy. Lars Boy, Night Theory and Push The Trolley collided on the first turn, checking Night Theory and Lars Boy. Lars Boy galloped on the heels of Night Theory approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Zou Zou Nee checked off Lars Boy approaching the home turn. Lars Boy and Zou Zou Nee collided entering the home straight, checking both greyhounds.
