Kadalex Kid was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Wynd, the trainer of Boss Senor regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Boss Senor last raced on 25/08/2016.  Mr. Wynd stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell.

Division Four, Mirror Reality, Mo Green and Master Mordecai were slow to begin.  Off The Hip checked off Henry approaching the first turn checking Mo Green.  Division Four and Off The Hip collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Mirror Reality checked off Division Four on the first turn.  Off The Hip and Master Mordecai collided entering the back straight checking Off The Hip and Mo Green.  Destini Dolphin and Off The Hip collided on the second turn and again approaching the home turn.  Destini Dolphin, Off The Hip and Division Four collided approaching the home turn.  Destini Dolphin galloped on Off The Hip approaching the home turn checking Destini Dolphin which raced wide checking Mirror Reality which raced wide as a result.  Henry raced wide entering the home straight.

Sketchy Nick was a late scratching at 4:56pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury (right front toe).  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was unable to be obtained from Sudoku Flash, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Stewards spoke to Ms. C. Jones, the trainer of Zipping Nolan regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Zipping Nolan last raced on 18/06/2016.  Ms Jones stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following surgery for the removal of bone chips from the right wrist.

This event was re scheduled with SKY/TAB to 9:07pm following delays in the kennels due to pre race sampling and the application of bandage/tape endorsements.

Milla Rose and Slog Sweep were quick to begin.  Dundee Fury was slow to begin.  Zipping Nolan and Head Wreck collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Natty Allen and Zipping Emma collided on the first turn checking Natty Allen.  Slog Sweep and Hollywood Model collided on the first turn checking Hollywood Model and severely checking Head Wreck and checking Zipping Nolen as a result.  Hollywood Model and Natty Allen collided approaching the home turn checking Hollywood Model.  Milla Rose and Zipping Emma collided on the home turn.  Hollywood Model raced wide on the home turn.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes after a late departure from the kennels due to pre race preparation and application of tape/bandage endorsements.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Cable Runner trialled over the 440m from box 8, weight 35.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25:13, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 17.5 lengths.  Cable Runner was not Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Bobby's Baby trialled over the 440m from box 1, weight 35.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 25:13 the greyhound won by a margin of 4.5 lengths. Bobby's Baby was Cleared.
