Steward's Report
Wind Riddler, Kosi Can, Solar Storm and Buckle Up Brax were slow to begin. Stealthy Mark and Lexia collided soon after the start. Wind Riddler, Kosi Can and Solar Storm collided approaching the first turn checking Wind Riddler and Kosi Can. Wind Riddler and Solar Storm collided on the first turn checking Wind Riddler. Wise Chief checked off Lexia approaching the second turn. Solar Storm, Wise Chief and Trudal Bella collided entering the back straight checking Wise Chief. Wise Chief checked off Trudal Bella approaching the home turn. Wind Riddler and Wise Chief collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Wind Riddler.
Wise Chief was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 9, it was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to it's left and right sortorius muscles, right back muscles and left elbow/shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Buckle Up Brax was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to it's left wrist and right hip. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Wise Chief, unplaced in the event.
