Dyna Oats, Destini Shadow, Dyna Werribee, Pop's Max, Sign Of Snow and Oxley Major collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Oats, Dyna Werribee, Pop's Max and Oxley Major. Pop's Max checked off Oxley Major on the first turn causing Oxley Major to stumble and Pop's Max to race wide. Destini Shadow and Sign Of Snow collided on the first turn and again in the front straight. Dyna Werribee galloped on the heels of Destini Shadow on the second turn.
