Miss Markwell, Dyna Dieter, Miss Mercantile and Five Paws were slow to begin.  Miss Markwell and Dyna Dieter collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Fadila Bale checked off Singapore Slip approaching the first turn.

She's Purring checked off Bralyn Casey approaching the first turn.  Bralyn Casey and Newfire Rosie collided on the first turn checking Newfire Rosie.  Newfire Rosie checked off Have A Dip on the second turn.  Proven Stellar raced wide on the second turn.  She's Purring and Newfire Rosie collided approaching the fourth turn.  Have A Dip and She's Purring collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke with Mr. C Russell (She's Purring) regarding his failure to engage a catcher for the greyhound and issued Mr. C Russell with a warning regarding the matter.

Proven Will, Noaki Spitfire and Dyna Denny were slow to begin.  Mepunga Lana and Dyna Cari collided approaching the first turn.  Mepunga Lana, Dyna Cari and Hello Good Bye collided on the first turn checking Dyna Cari, Noaki Spitfire and Dyna Denny raced wide as a result.  Proven Will contacted the running rail on the third turn and lost ground.  Proven Earner and Dyna Cari collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Noaki Spitfire.  Noaki Spitfire eased in the home straight and collided with Dyna Cari.  Noaki Spitfire and Dyna Cari collided approaching the winning post.

Noaki Spitfire was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained Left Hind Split Webbing, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G Selkrig, the trainer of the greyhound Noaki Spitfire.  Noaki Spitfire was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to Left Hind Split Webbing, a 14 stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(5), the Stewards charged Noaki Spitfire with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(6), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Coulta Harvest was slow to begin.  Leprechaun Macey crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Towbar Teddy and severely checking Dyna Werribee which stumbled as a result.  Kayo Marciarno and Dyna Werribee collided on the first turn.  Jacko Lankan checked off Towbar Teddy approaching the second turn checking Newfire Riley.  Jacko Lankan and Newfire Riley collided in the back straight.  Newfire Riley and Kayo Marciarno collided on the fifth turn checking Dyna Werribee.  Towbar Teddy checked off Dyna Werribee on the home time checking Jacko Lankan. 

Powerhouse was slow to begin.  Dyna Felix and Dyna Ishaan collided soon after the start.  Super Rico, Foot Tapper and Zipping Fred collided approaching the first turn checking Super Rico and Foot Tapper.  Powerhouse and Zipping Fred collided on the first turn checking Zipping Fred.  Edith Bale and Dyna Ishaan collided on the first turn.  Foot Tapper and Zipping Fred collided on the second turn.  Foot Tapper, Edith Bale and Dyna Felix collided on the second turn causing Edith Bale to fall, checking Foot Tapper and Super Rico and severely checking Zipping Fred.  Powerhouse and Searle Bale collided on the home turn.

Edith Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to handler Mr. J Briffa regarding his late arrival to prepare greyhound Dyna Ishaan for this event.  Acting under GAR 86(O) Stewards charged Mr. J Briffa regarding this matter and fined him the sum of $200.00

Pop's Max, Dewana Fusion and Lektra Radiant were slow to begin.  Born Lightning, Five Hammers, Dodge The Batten and Just As Fancy collided approaching the first turn severely checking Just As Fancy, Dodge The Batten, Oxley Major, Dewana Fusion and Lektra Radiant.  Just As Fancy and Oxley Major collided approaching third turn. Pop's Max checked off Born Lightning on the home turn.
