Poppy Jay and Zatthree were slow to begin. Midori Miss and Sage Jay collided soon after the start. Zacky Dee, Sage Jay and Turbo Injected collided soon after the start. Poppy Jay and Zatthere collided on the first turn. Zacky Lee crossed to the inside on the first turn, checking Midori Miss, Sage Jay, Zatthere, severely checking Poppy Jay and causing What's Her Name to gallop on the heels of Zacky Lee as a result, checking Zacky Lee, What's Her Name and All A Illusion. Zacky Lee eased approaching the home turn, causing What's Her Name to race wide. Zacky Lee crossed to the outside and checked off What's Her Name approaching the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Z.Gemci, handler of the greyhound Zacky Lee regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Zacky Lee was vetted and re-vetted following event 3. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left hind bruising and a right hock injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), stewards charged Zacky Lee with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Gemci pleaded not guilty to the charge, Zacky Lee was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Smiley Girl was quick to begin. Belron Beale was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Sherry Baby and Gone To Texas collided soon after the start. Gone To Texas and Smiley Girl collided on the first turn, checking Jazzy New Year which raced wide as a result. You Can't Play checked off Gone To Texas approaching the second turn, checking Sherry Baby, You Can't Play and Belron Beale. Belron Beale and Big Bold Boomer collided on the second turn, checking Big Bold Boomer. Smiley Girl and Sweet Nothins collided on the third turn, checking Smiley Girl. Belron Beale checked off Sherry Baby on the home turn. 

Dundee Miss and Kay Kayla were quick to begin. Kenilworth, Jolly Beggarman and Penny Farthing collided soon after the start, checking all three greyhounds. Flying Kayla and Capture collided on the first turn, checking Capture and Not Rich Yet which raced wide as a result. Jolly Beggarman and Penny Farthing raced wide on the first turn. Jolly Beggarman checked off Not Rich Yet on the third turn. Jolly Beggarman raced wide in the home straight. 

Jolly Beggarman was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor grazing to the right fore, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Held Hostage and Fawn Mantra were slow to begin. Stick Hero, Addictive Love and Held Hostage collided soon after the start, checking Addictive Love and Held Hostage. Dromore's Opal and Plaza Girl collided approaching the first turn. Held Hostage checked off Plaza Girl approaching the first turn. Held Hostage and Fawn Mantra collided on the first turn, checking Held Hostage and causing Addictive Love and Held Hostage to race wide as a result. Dromore's Opal checked off Plaza Girl entering the back straight. Held Hostage checked off Addictive Love approaching the third turn. Fawn Mantra checked off Dromore's Opal on the third turn.

Inter Carmella and Carly Jay were quick to begin. Too Sick and Annabow collided soon after the start. Inter Carmella and It's A Blast collided approaching the first turn, checking Inter Carmella, Annabow; Too Sick contacted the running rail and fell, severely checking Wentworth Bea which contacted the rail, stumbled and subsequently tailed off.

Wentworth Bea was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a injury to the left monkey muscle and grazing to the nose, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Too Sick was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left tibia and fibula, and was humanely euthanised.

Swans Twelve, Berry Blitz and Precious Pink were slow to begin. Aqua Virtue, Zatmine, Pat The Baker and Berry Blitz collided approaching the first turn, checking Zatmine, Pat The Baker and Berry Blitz which raced wide. Aqua Vitae checked off Precious Pink on the first turn. Disco and Precious Pink collided entering the home straight. Aqua Vitae and Berry Blitz raced wide in the home straight. 

Inter Lucy was quick to begin. He's Ma Bro and Express Pace collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn, checking Our Spinner and He's Ma Bro. Dundee Cobra and Express Pace collided on the first turn. Moreira and Houdini's Gold collided on the first turn.

Dewana Babe was a late scratching at 6.04pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr B Dewan, the trainer of Dewana Result declared a new weight of 38.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dewana Result last raced at 37.1kgs. 

Full On Bling and Peggy Sable were quick to begin. Lissa Breen and One Cup Short collided soon after the start. Lisburn Gem and Dewana Result collided soon after the start. Lisburn Gem, Dewana Result and One Cup Short collided on the first turn, checking Good Judge Buddy, One Cup Short and Dewana Result which raced wide as a result. Andy Jay and Dromore's Pearl collided approaching the first turn, checking Andy Jay. Dromore's Pearl and Coolan Prince collided on the first turn, checking Dromore's Pearl, Coolan Prince and Herbivorous. Andy Jay and Coolan Prince collided on the third turn. Andy Jay and Coolan Prince collided approaching the home turn, checking Coolan Prince. Coolan Prince contacted the running rail on the home turn.

Cinquedea and Plaza Boy were quick to begin. Tekki Lightning, Coolan Girl, Cinquedea, Plaza Boy and Enry's Suprize collided approaching the first turn, checking Plaza Boy, Cinquedea and Coolan Girl. Plea For Beer crossed to the rail on the first turn, severely checking Coolan Girl, Cinquedea and Plaza Boy, Cinquedea galloped on the heels of Plaza Boy as a result. Shake The Night raced wide throughout the event.

Diligent Miss and Buckle Up Lara were quick to begin. Almost Human and Fine Diner collided approaching the first turn, checking Fine Diner. Yoko and Here Comes Alex collided on the first turn, checking Yoko. Diligent Miss and Buckle Up Lara collided on the first turn, checking Diligent Miss. Fine Diner checked off Here Comes Alex on the first turn. Diligent Miss and Buckle Up Lara collided in the home straight. 

Macey's Queen and Elfie were slow to begin. Deadly Surfer, Aston Zues and Princess Gemini collided approaching the first turn, checking Aston Zues. Deadly Surfer, Aston Zues and Macey's Queen collided on the first turn, checking Aston Zues, Elfie and severely checking Deadly Surfer which stumbled as a result. Sheza Gym Junky checked off Alexanderia approaching the home turn, checking Sheza Gym Junky, Corrine and Princess Gemini. Aston Zues and Macey's Queen collided on the home turn. Macey's Queen and Corrine collided in the home straight, checking Corrine. 

MEETING COMMENTS:

Kennels closed approximately 7 mins late due to traffic delays being the result of a late arrival on course. 

Satisfactory Trial Results – Headline trialled over the 520m from box 1, weight 28.6kg the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 30.19, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.25 lengths. Headline was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results – Amber Diane trialled over the 520m from box 3, weight 26.8kg the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 30.19, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 20 lengths. Amber Diane was not cleared.

Enduro Miss was presented for a vet check and was cleared to race.

Satisfactory Whelping Trial - Enduro Miss trialled over the 311m from box 3, weight 31.6kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 17.86, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6 lengths. Enduro Miss was cleared.
