Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. J Burch, the representative of Aeroplane Ritzy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Aeroplane Ritzy last raced on 13.07.2015 and is returning to racing after a change of kennel and an injury to the right triangle.
Hardaway Law was quick to begin. Majimber Rock and Black And Pretty collided soon after the start. Oaklands and Lovely Lizzie collided at the 250m mark. Aeroplane Ritzy and Oaklands collided at the 200m mark. Hugh Made Who, Aeroplane Ritzy, Oaklands and Hardaway Law collided at the 150m mark, checking Aeroplane Ritzy. Hugh Made Who and Oaklands collided several times approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr. P Burley, the trainer of Black And Pretty regarding the greyhounds improved performance. Mr. Burley stated that he had given the greyhound a five week freshen up as he was not happy with the way the greyhound was beginning. Stewards noted Mr. Burley's explanation and directed that a sample be taken.
