Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. J Uglietta, the trainer of Rosetta Caprici regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Rosetta Caprici last raced on 21.07.2015. Mr. Uglietta stated that he has been nominating the greyhound but had been unsuccessful in gaining a start.
Mr. B Philippe, trainer of Subway declared a new weight of 37.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Subway last raced at 36.3kgs.
Black Selandra and Smash It were quick to begin. Sultan Of Swing galloped on the heels of Smash It soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Sultan Of Swing and Smash It collided at the 150m mark. Black Selandra raced wide throughout the event.
