Another Blue was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained right foreleg shoulder and toe injuries, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Nukstar was very slow to begin (4L).  Prestwick and Draculette collided soon after the start, checking Draculette.  Warringal Miss, Prestwick and Prictures Of Me collided approaching the first turn, checking Warringal Miss, Nukstar and Pictures Of Me, and Prestwick fell as a result.  Elite Obama and Texta Arandt collided on the first turn.  Nukstar marred the running of Pictures Of Me several times in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S Liuzzi, the representative of the greyhound Nukstar regarding the greyhounds racing manners in home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Mr. Liuzzi with marring. Mr. Liuzzi pleaded guilty to the charge, Nukstar was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Nukstar was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Prestwick was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg back muscle injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

My Dolly Molly was quick to begin.  Vasile Boy and Dawn Cruise were slow to begin.  Dyna Xanadu, Unlocked, Irish Moment and Dawn Cruise collided soon after the start, checking Dyna Xanadu and Dawn Cruise.  Vasile Boy and Angel Of Glory collided approaching the first turn.  Zelemar Leap checked off My Dolly Molly on the first turn.

Yaala was quick to begin.  Bazz Kebab and Calvin Candie were slow to begin.  All Noise and Spring Kitty collided soon after the start.  All Noise checked off Spring Kitty approaching the first turn.  Spring Kitty, Yaala, Watsargo Sarge and Blitzen Bell collided on the first turn, checking Spring Kitty, Yaala and All Noise, severely checking Blitzen Bell, and Violet Allen fell as a result. Spring Kitty and Yaala collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn, checking Bazz Kebab.  All Noise raced wide in the home straight.  Calvin Candie checked off Spring Kitty approaching the winning post.

Jack's Prince was quick to begin.  Tredgar, Galloping Ashley and Sultan Of Swing were slow to begin.  Sultan Of Swing and Galloping Ashley collided soon after the start.  Beyond The Vally and Pingu collided approaching the first turn, checking Pingu.  Go Lakers Go and Amlin's Magic collided on the first turn.  Tredgar checked off Jack's Prince on the first turn.  Pingu and Jack's Prince collided several times approaching the home turn.  Go Lakers Go and Amlin's Magic collided several times approaching the home turn.  Jack's Prince checked off Pingu approaching the home turn, checking Sultan Of Swing.  Beyond The Vally, Go Lakers Go and Amlin's Magic collided on the home turn, checking Amlin's Magic.  Galloping Ashley, Jack's Prince and Sultan Of Swing raced wide on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr G Kantzidis after the greyhound Lunchmoney Lewis was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr. Kantzidis was issued with a severe reprimand and reminded when kennelling he ensures greyhounds are kennelled in accordance with kennel procedure. 

Stewards spoke to kennel attendant, Mr T Dempsey after the greyhound, Lunchmoney Lewis, was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr Dempsey was issued with a severe reprimand and asked to ensure that all greyhounds are correctly kennelled in future.  This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Dig Deep Bert trialled over the 460m  from box eight, weight 29.7kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four.  The time of the trial was 26.03, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.25 lengths.  Dig Deep Bert was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Black Colossus trialled over the 460m from box one, weight 31.2kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four.  The time of the trial was 26.03, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 16 lengths.  Black Colossus was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Latigo trialled over the 400m from box one, weight 32.8kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23.25, the greyhound won by a margin of 5.5 lengths.  Latigo was Cleared.
