Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Bazz Kebab.
Yaala was quick to begin. Bazz Kebab and Calvin Candie were slow to begin. All Noise and Spring Kitty collided soon after the start. All Noise checked off Spring Kitty approaching the first turn. Spring Kitty, Yaala, Watsargo Sarge and Blitzen Bell collided on the first turn, checking Spring Kitty, Yaala and All Noise, severely checking Blitzen Bell, and Violet Allen fell as a result. Spring Kitty and Yaala collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn, checking Bazz Kebab. All Noise raced wide in the home straight. Calvin Candie checked off Spring Kitty approaching the winning post.
A sample was taken from Calvin Candie – third placed in the event.
Violet Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
