Steward's Report
Tiger Hugo was quick to begin. Oakmont Twister, Girder Fork and Zipping Zali were slow to begin. Oakmont Twister crossed to the outside approaching the first turn. Aston Tulloch, Girder Fork and Twistex collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Tulloch and Twistex. Oakmont Twister and Twistex collided on the first turn checking Twistex. Allen Pincer and Zipping Zali collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Allen Pincer. Allen Pincer clipped the heels of Top Sprite in the home straight checking Top Sprite. Allen Pincer and Top Sprite collided approaching the winning post.
Twistex was vetted and after being re vetted following event 9, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Harris, the handler of the greyhound Twistex. Stewards deemed the performance of Twistex unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Twistex must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
