A pre race sample was taken from Hadvel Bale.

Hadvel Bale was slow to begin. Shima Rainbow and Alpha Alexander collided soon after the start. Alpha Alexander and Dyna Yatul collided approaching the first turn. Oshkosh Gypsy, Hadvel Bale, Shima Rainbow, Alpha Alexander and Dyna Yatul collided on the first turn, severely checking Oshkosh Gypsy, Hadvel Bale and Shima Rainbow. Hadvel Bale and Shima Rainbow collided on the home turn. 

Shima Rainbow was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Ms. M Shaw, the handler of Good Thunder regarding her failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.

Stewards charged Ms. Shaw with a breach of GAR 46(2) in that she failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound Good Thunder. Ms. Shaw pleaded guilty to the charge. Ms Shaw was found guilty and fined the sum of $100

Marcus Daking was a late scratching at 11:43am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Spring Emperor and Blue Kade were quick to begin. Urana Woofa, Falzion Bale and Pitch collided soon after the start. Lorenzo Blue and Urana Woofa collided approaching the first turn. Pitch checked off Blue Kade on the first turn. Shima Musket and Falzion Bale collided approaching the home turn. Shima Market and Spring Emperor collided in the home straight.

Enola Gay was quick to begin. Shima Gold and Fay Courage were slow to begin. Oscorp Bale and Creative Cruise collided soon after the start. Shima Gold checked off Dyna Willem approaching the first turn. Dyna Willem checked off Yesteryear on the first turn, checking Creative Cruise. Oscorp Bale, Enola Gay and Shima Gold collided on the first turn, checking Dyna Willem and Creative Cruise, and severely checking Enola Gay, Shima Gold pulled up as a result. Creative Cruise and Dyna Willem collided approaching the home turn. Fay Courage raced wide in the home straight. 

Shima Gold was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the right radius, and was humanely euthanased.

Enola Gay was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a puncture to the right side of the lip and an abrasion to the left calf, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Dyna Willem was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Enola Gay became dislodged during the running of the event. 

A pre race sample was taken from Augustus Dagloop.

Lektra Flame and Seven Two were slow to begin. Angel Of Glory and Lektra Flame collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Fetty Wap and Play Alone collided approaching the first turn, checking Fetty Wap. Seven Two, Angel Of Glory, Lektra Flame and Play Alone collided on the first turn, severely checking Angel Of Glory, Lektra Flame and Play Alone. Augustus Dagloop and Weasley Grange collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Angel Of Glory, Lektra Flame and Fetty Wap collided approaching the home turn, checking Angel Of Glory, and severely checking Lektra Flame. Fetty Wap and Play Alone collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Augustus Dagloop and Weasley Grange collided on the home turn and severel times in the home straight, severely checking both greyhounds.

A sample was taken from Seven Two - the winner of the event. 

Blue Murray was slow to begin. Forever Merry and Allen Gable collided soon after the start. City And Colour, Forever Merry, Allen Gable, Yes Sarge and Crown Princess collided on the first turn, checking City And Colour and Forever Merry. Allen Gable and Yes Sarge collided approaching the home turn, checking Yes Sarge. Forever Merry and Blue Murray collided approaching the home turn.

A sample was taken from Jarbass Bale - placed second in the event. 

A pre race sample was taken from Archi Willow.

Archi Willow was quick to begin. Where's Savannah, Rockstar Troy, Running Yards and Deadset Jet were slow to begin. Running Yards and Rex On collided in the back straight. Rockstar Troy checked off Archi Willow on the first turn. Rockstar Troy and Deadset Jet collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Deadset Jet and checking Home Runner. Rockstar Troy and Miss Vane collided entering the home straight.

Aston Mondo was slow to begin. Uncle Pandora and Persuader collided approaching the first turn, checking Uncle Pandora. Uncle Pandora, Aston Mondo and Pupetta Maresca collided on the first turn, checking Aston Mondo and Pupetta Maresca, and severely checking Oshkosh Jay. Aston Mondo galloped on the heels of Uncle Pandora approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Uncle Pandora checked off Pupetta Maresca approaching the home turn. Pupetta Maresca and Allen Journo collided entering the home straight.

A sample was taken from Oshkosh Jay - unplaced in the event. 

A pre race sample was taken from Macrory.

Dyna Krypto, Gawker Bale and Quasi Bale collided soon after the start, checking all three greyhounds. Lochinvar Kors checked off Your Shout Punk on the first turn, checking White Bandit. Miss Moto, White Bandit and Lochinvar Kors raced wide in the home straight. 

Eppy Bale, Zippy Daph and Secret Choice collided approaching the first turn. Secret Choice checked off Dyna Xanadu on the first turn. Dyna Xanadu checked off Sesame Street approaching the home turn, checking Unlocked. Zippy Daph checked off Olfina Allen on the home turn, checking Eppy Bale.

Blue Westmead and Sketchy Nick were slow to begin. Connemara Black and Let's Run collided soon after the start. Blue Westmead, Connemara Black, Let's Run, Dyna Yavin and Pingu collided on the first turn, severely checking Blue Westmead, Connemara Black and Let's Run.

Golden Warrior and Beyond The Vally were slow to begin. Showtime Mystery and Beyond The Vally collided on the first turn. Bundarra Magic and Zahra Bella collided approaching the home turn, checking Beyond The Vally. Miss Gracie and Sub Zero Magic collided on the home turn, checking Miss Gracie, Sub Zero Magic and Bundarra Magic. Zahra Bella and Showtime Mystery collided in the home straight. Beyond The Vally galloped on the heels of Miss Gracie in the home straight.

Miss Gracie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right deltoid muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Sketchy Jack and Rock'Em Elvis collided on the first turn, checking Rock'Em Elvis and Bob On. Admiral Bay and Diamond Apple collided on the first turn, and again approaching the home turn. Rock'Em Elvis and Bob On collided approaching the home turn, and again on the home turn.
