Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Hadvel Bale.
Hadvel Bale was slow to begin. Shima Rainbow and Alpha Alexander collided soon after the start. Alpha Alexander and Dyna Yatul collided approaching the first turn. Oshkosh Gypsy, Hadvel Bale, Shima Rainbow, Alpha Alexander and Dyna Yatul collided on the first turn, severely checking Oshkosh Gypsy, Hadvel Bale and Shima Rainbow. Hadvel Bale and Shima Rainbow collided on the home turn.
Shima Rainbow was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Ms. M Shaw, the handler of Good Thunder regarding her failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.
Stewards charged Ms. Shaw with a breach of GAR 46(2) in that she failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound Good Thunder. Ms. Shaw pleaded guilty to the charge. Ms Shaw was found guilty and fined the sum of $100
