Steward's Report
Miss Money May was quick to begin. Oakmont Whisper and Agent Alyssa were slow to begin. Blasting Bear raced wide on the first turn. Blasting Bear and Zipping Scarlet raced wide on the second turn. Blasting Bear raced wide on the third turn checking Zipping Scarlet. Agent Alyssa raced wide entering the home straight and collided with Blasting Bear. Magic Coups marred Miss Money May in the home straight and approaching the winning post.
Agent Alyssa was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left pencil muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Magic Coups was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Ms. N. Lund the trainer of the greyhound Magic Coups regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight and approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Magic Coups with marring. Ms. Lund pleaded guilty to the charge, Magic Coups was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
