Stewards spoke to Ms. N. Lund the trainer of the greyhound Magic Coups regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight and approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Magic Coups with marring.  Ms. Lund pleaded guilty to the charge, Magic Coups was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Sonic Pirate and no illness was detected.  The greyhound was a late scratching at 6.09pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. P. Reinders was fined the sum of $100.
