Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Shazzle's Boy engaged in this event on 16/09/2015 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Master Tron was slow to begin.
Lead Into Demise, To The Galo's, El Surrao and One Dee collided soon after the start. To The Galo's chekced off Lead Into Demise approaching the first turn. Master Tron and Rugall collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking Rugall. Shazzle's Boy and One Dee collided approaching the second turn. Master Tron and To The Galo's collided on the second turn severely checking Master Tron, To The Galo's and Rugall with Rugall stumbling, To The Galo's tailling off and Master Tron falling as a result. Lead Into Demise checked off El Surrao on the third turn.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. B. Briffa regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Rugall. Stewards directed that Rugall be boxed first in future events.
Master Tron was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Rugall was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a graze to the left metacarpal, no stand down period was imposed.
To The Galo's was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left and right triceps injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
