Steward's Report

Allen Oregon, It's A Blast and Sisco Wake were slow to begin.

Cosmic Owl and Ringer collided approaching the first turn.  It's A Blast and sisco Wake collided on the first turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Waymore's Blues and Miss Monteya collided on the second turn.  Miss Monteya and Allen Oregon collided on the third turn.  Waymore's Blues checked off Ringer on the fourth turn.  Grand Legacy eased approaching the home turn checking It's A Blast and Miss Monteya.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Dapiran, the trainer of the greyhound Grand legacy regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn Grand Legacy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to left & right triceps, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Grand Legacy with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. P. Dapiran pleaded guilty to the charge, Grand Legacy was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Ringer  Mr. A. Debattista regarding the greyhound's improve profromance. Mr Debattista said the greyhound was better suited from an inside draw, stewards accepted Mr. Debattista's explanation and directed that a sample be taken from the greyhound.
