Steward's Report
Hendo Blue was quick to begin. Cape Shiraz was slow to begin. Urana Gold and You Can Jive collided soon after the start checking Urana Gold. Urana Gold galloped on the heels of You Can Jive soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Urana Gold checked off Cape Shiraz approaching the first turn. Cape Shiraz checked off How Good She on the first turn. You Can Jive checked off Farce Allen approaching the home turn checking You Can Jive severley checking Cape Shiraz and How Good She. Urana Gold checked off How Good She on the home turn. Hendo Blue raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
Following the event Stewards directed that Cape Shiraz be vetted. The trainer of Cape Shiraz Mr. P. Ellis left the race course without having the greyhound vetted. Stewards attempted to contact Mr. Ellis to return to the course but were unsuccessful. Mr. Ellis returned the Stewards phone call prior to race 11. As a result Cape Shiraz will be required to be vetted at a race track prior to any future nominations being accepted.
