Steward's Report
Dollar Chips, Here Comes Alex, Smashing Success and Aye Simple Myth were slow to begin. Here comes Alex was checked off Hello Billy approaching the first turn. Smashing Success was checked off Hello Billy on the first turn and faltered losing considerable ground.
Following the event Hello Billy collapsed in the catching pen. The greyhound was pronounced deceased by the Club;s Veterinary Surgeon. As a result Stewards ordered that samples be taken and an autopsy be conducted in accordance with GAR 78.
Smashing Success was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a injured right hock, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory trial result:- Rogernator trialled over 395 metres from box 8, weight 30.3kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.96 secs the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.75 lengths. Rogernator was cleared.
