Girl Guide was a late scratching at 4.45pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas).  No stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tahlia's Sunrise was quick to begin.  Elite Runner was slow to begin.  Gee Whiz Gran, Sweet Shiraz and Dozen He Go collided soon after the start checking Sweet Shiraz.  Speed And Rocket and Dozen He Go collided approaching the first turn checking Speed And Rocket.  Elite Runner, Rockin' Rhonda and Dozen He Go collided on the first turn checking Speed And Rocket and severely checking Rockin' Rhonda and Dozen He Go.  Elite Runner and Tahlia's Sunrise collided entering the home straight checking Tahlia's Sunrise.  Elite Runner and Tahlia's Sunrise collided several times approaching the winning post.

Sheoak Mazuri was a late scratching at 4.40pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Cosmic Witch and Dee Mum's Girl were slow to begin.  Pretty Machine, Silent Stealth, Thomas Vella and Lucky Chic collided on the first turn checking Silent Stealth and severely checking Thomas Vella, Lucky Chic and Sultan's Boy.  Cosmic Witch raced wide approaching the home turn checking Lucky Chic.  Lucky Chic was checked off Cosmic Witch on the home turn.

Dollar Chips, Here Comes Alex, Smashing Success and Aye Simple Myth were slow to begin.  Here comes Alex was checked off Hello Billy approaching the first turn.  Smashing Success was checked off Hello Billy on the first turn and faltered losing considerable ground.  

Following the event Hello Billy collapsed in the catching pen. The greyhound was pronounced deceased by the Club;s Veterinary Surgeon.  As a result Stewards ordered that samples be taken and an autopsy be conducted in accordance with GAR 78.

Smashing Success was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a injured right hock, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory trial result:- Rogernator trialled over 395 metres from box 8, weight 30.3kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.96 secs the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.75 lengths.  Rogernator was cleared.
