Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. F. Tasca, the representative of Madame Black regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Madame Black last raced on 10 July 2016 and is returning from acidosis and a spell. Mr. Tasca declared a new weight of 30.8 for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Madame Black last raced at 29.2.
A pre-race sample was taken from Master Phelps.
The start of this race was delayed by approximately 5 minutes to allow for extra veterinary duties to be performed.
Hot Genetics was vetted prior to the running of this event and passed fit to race.
Sultan Of Swing was slow to begin. Master Phelps crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Bejay The Dejay, Pappa Gallo, Hetalia Bale, Madame Black and Hot Genetics. Hetalia Bale and Pappa Gallo collided at the 300m mark. Hetalia Bale crossed to the rail approaching the 250m mark. Pappa Gallo and Madame Black collided at the 200m mark. Hot Genetics crossed to the ral at the 150m mark.
