A pre-race sample was taken from Sarah Swift upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Kiranna and Staggerlicious were quick to begin. Sarah Swift and Fizzy Bale collided soon after the start. Kiranna and Staggerlicious collided on the first turn. Sarah Swift and Skate Thin Ice collided on the first turn, checking Sarah Swift. Dr. Melezar and Fizzy Bale collided on the first turn. Fiery Felix and Skate Thin Ice collided on the second turn. Fiery Felix checked off Skate Thin Ice approaching the home turn.
Fizzy Bale was vetter following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
