Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. D.Taylor, the trainer of Rising Assets regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Rising Assets last raced on 20th June 2016. Mr. Taylor stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an injury to the right fibula after which time it suffered an infection.
A pre-race sample was taken from Rising Assets.
Lay Down Sally and Inky were quick to begin. Rapid Lily and Rising Assets were slow to begin. Sally's Cookie checked off Huge Storm on the first turn. Fish Armo and Huge Storm collided entering the back straight checking Huge Storm, Sally's Cookie and Rapid Lily. Fish Armo and Rising Assets collided on the second turn checking Rising Assets. Sally's Cookie and Skipalong Kelly collided approaching the home turn checking Sally's Cookie. Sally's Cookie and Rising Assets collided on the home turn checking Sally's Cookie. Sally's Cookie checked off Fish Armo in the home straight. Lay Down Sally and Inky collided approaching the winning post.
